I have asserted many times that our parents Won at the Game of Life. This stat bears that out, and I think the real question that should be asked is “What Now?” From a paperwork perspective, how well organized are our parents and grandparents? From a family dynamics perspective, how well does the next generation understand the plan? From a liquidity standpoint, how well can our parents help the next generation move their lives forward without impacting their own retirement?
